GRADING PROCEDURES

MID-TERM AND FINAL EXAMS

Exams at the Institute of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners take place twice per semester. The mid-term and final exams in grammar, vocabulary and linguistic fluency are scheduled at appointed times. Other tests are individually arranged by the instructors.
Grades from specific subjects are recorded in the student’s examination card. After completion of the program – either one-semester or one-year – students receive a diploma. The grade written on the diploma is the average grade from all of the exams. The mid-semester and final exams are documents that can only be reviewed. They are the property of the Insitute; after being corrected by instructors, they are archived.


The final grade percentages recorded on a student’s examination card are as follows:
