In October 2023, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków is launching severa;; new Polish courses, targeted specifically at EU long-term resident status applicants who already have some knowledge of the language.
Due to the fact that the course is intended for people after the A2 level, it is necessary to take a placement test.
The condition for receiving a certificate is attendance at classes and a positive result of the final exam.
Oral placement test - designed to assess your language level. Only applicants whose language level is higher than A2 will be accepted for the course. The test is conducted in the form of an online interview - the date of the interview is agreed individually between the teacher and the participant.
Course description: The syllabus is adapted to the needs of our learners. The course has a practical focus and centers on topics and issues encountered in everyday life to help you communicate more effectively at work, at school, and in the office.
You will develop and improve all language skills, i.e. speaking, reading, listening, and writing, as well as expand your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
Course duration:
  • Online, in-class, 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Teaching hours:  the course consists of 24 academic hours of Polish (1 academic hour = 45 minutes), including 4 hours set aside for the written and oral exam. In order to earn the certificate, you need to pass the final test.
